LABOUR IN STEADFASTNESS

“1 Corinthians 15:58 – “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Oftentimes, we find ourselves seeking recognition and approval from others, tempted to labour for the sight of men, while desiring their

applause and affirmation. However, our opening text reminds us to shift our focus to the Lord instead. Our ultimate goal should be to please Him and bring glory to His name.

To be steadfast is to be unwavering and resolute in commitment. It requires consistency and perseverance even in the face of challenges. We are called to remain firm in our faith, rooted in the truth of God’s Word, and unwavering in our dedication to His work.

One important factor in being steadfast is consistency in learning. When you keep on growing in the knowledge and understanding of God’s Word, you become better equipped to serve and fulfil the purpose that God has for you.

Today therefore, set your heart and attention on serving the Lord with singleness of heart, knowing that your reward in His house is sure.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be steadfast in my walk with you, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – PHILIPPINES
Once the second richest country in Asia behind Japan, political instability and poor economic decisions by Filipino leaders over the years have transformed the nation into one of Asia’s poorest. Christianity is widespread, with over 90 percent of the population having Christian beliefs, but the smaller, but strong, five percent Muslims are generally in the southern islands, where they seek to consolidate four Philippine provinces as a separate Islamic state.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we break every hold of the devil over this nation that is keeping the people from seeing the light; we pray that their eyes be opened in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, cause believers to rise into positions of authority, using their influence to advance the Gospel, in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, baptize believers in the Body of Christ with the Spirit of oneness and unity, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon our city today, and cause us to experience a massive harvest of souls into your Kingdom, in Jesus Name.
