SET YOUR HEART BELIEVING

“Mark 11:23 – For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Faith is not just mere speaking. Our opening text today opens our eyes to why sometimes, some persons claim to declare a thing in faith and yet have no results. Their words may lack power because they do not truly believe those words in their hearts in the first place.

There is a distinction between merely speaking words of faith and genuinely believing them in our hearts. To see our faith produce result, we must first believe in our hearts even before speaking with our mouths. (2Cor. 13-15)

For instance, when you declare in faith that you will get a job, do not let doubt fill your heart regarding how it will happen. Instead, speak God’s Word to your heart and affirm, “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory.” This statement addresses the question of where the job will come from, causing your heart to be at peace, trusting in God’s ability. This way, your speaking aligns with your believing, and you are poised to have your faith produce results.

Therefore, grasp onto God’s precious words for every situation you encounter and boldly declare them to yourself, while truly believing in your heart. It is then that you may speak in faith, declaring God’s Word to your situation and commanding a change. This is the way to bring the object of your faith into reality.

Startup Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I acknowledge and declare that your Word is true. Help me to be strong in faith, believing in my heart all that you have spoken to me, that my faith may produce results, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – PORTUGAL
As a predominantly Catholic country, Portugal is even further unified by the culturally embedded traditions and practices of the Church. The Portuguese youth in particular are overlooked, and New Age ideals, Mormonism, and Jehovah’s Witnesses are beginning to take hold of those who do not know Christ. Increasing pursuit of individualism and material gain further blind the people from seeing their need for a Savior.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpour of your Spirit upon this nation, and cause a revival of Soulwinning to be seen in the Church, and by extension the entire nation, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, cause your fear to rest in the hearts of the legislators in Portugal, that they may make laws that favour the cause of the Gospel, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Church will walk in oneness and love, fulfilling your purpose of taking the Gospel to all the nations, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, give unto the youths a heart to know you, and cause them to be on fire for you, in the name of Jesus.
