BE PASSIONATE FOR RESULTS

Psalm 132:4-5 – “I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.”

A person who is concerned about getting results or achieving his goals and the task that is committed to his trust regardless of challenges is one who is certain to excel. Such a person can be referred to as a faithful steward who is able to get things done and to earn returns on investments. This is what we see in our opening text today.

The believer who is passionate for change understands that with every labour comes profit (Prov. 14:23), and that though profit may not always be monetary, each time ones exert physical, mental or spiritual effort in the direction of his vision, the output moves you at least one step closer to your destination. Thus, every step in the right direction counts.

This is why you should rule out the habit of quitting before the job is done. Each time you set your eyes on a certain goal to be achieved, refuse to give up until you accomplish it. Think about the joy and satisfaction you would get from excelling (Heb. 12:2) and press on till the goal is achieved. This is the character of Praise God!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, cause a passion for change to be birthed in me. Make me a person of results, in the name of Jesus!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – QATAR
Nearly 80% of the population is Muslim, and it is forbidden to criticize the ruling family or Islam or to share the Gospel. Many expatriates have been forced to leave the country as a result of speaking about Christ. Immigrant Christians are allowed to practice their faith, though they are considered second hand citizens.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for effectual doors of the Gospel to be opened in the nation Qatar, that supernatural opportunities for the spread of the Gospel will be released in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of Qatar, that they will encounter the Lord Jesus, such that their hearts will open up to the Gospel, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that your love will abound in the church, and believers will grow yet more and more in knowledge and judgment, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will raise missionaries in our cities who will take the Gospel to every part of our nation, bringing back a harvest of souls, in Jesus name.
