CONTINUE IN LOVE

Hebrews 13:1 – “Let brotherly love continue.””

God’s love knows no limit. The Bible shows us that while we were yet sinners and undeserving, He gave up His Son to die for our sins and redeem us (Rom. 5:8). There is no greater love than this, one that sets a standard for how we ought also to love, just as our opening text establishes.

First, if we learn to see people the way God sees them, and we are not quick to judge them, we will easily develop brotherly kindness. No wonder the Lord Jesus said we must forgive a brother who offends us seventy times seven times. (Matt. 18:21-22). It is also important to spend time in fellowship with the brethren often, as this helps to develop a bond of love.

Finally, learn to pray fervently for your brethren, knowing that it is hard to remain angry or maintain a strong dislike for someone when you spend time praying for them. As you pray love and forgiveness comes easily from you to them. In all, continue in love towards others because this is the will of God for you.

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will give the leaders of this nation, insight into the needs of their communities and discernment to make decisions in fairness, equity and justice, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name ofJesus, we pray that the body of Christ will be a formidable force to bring about a mighty revival on the earth in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost in our city and environs, that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ will shine unto them, thereby, destroying every veil that blinds their minds from the truth, in Jesus Name.
