FIGHT FEAR
1 Samuel 1:6
“And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the Lord had shut up her womb.”
Fear is often misunderstood as simply being scared of something, but it is more than that. It is the uncertainty about what will happen next. Whenever you are unsure about the outcome of a situation or feel uncertain about the future, that is fear.
The enemy uses fear as a weapon to hinder your progress. Just like in the story of Hannah, where her adversary provoked her sorely because of her childlessness, the devil tries to highlight areas of lack in your life to provoke fear and anxiety. Once fear takes hold, it opens the door for the devil to disrupt your plans and shut the door to your blessings.
To overcome fear, you must confront the areas where you feel disadvantaged by laying hold of what the word of God says. By doing so, you will receive the answers and solutions you need. Reject fear right now and claim victory over it in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-UGANDA
Uganda’s religious landscape consists of three main components: indigenous religions, Islam, and Christianity.
The majority of the population, approximately four-fifths, adheres to Christianity, with Roman Catholics and Protestants being the main denominations.
About one-eighth of the population follows Islam, while the rest adhere to traditional indigenous beliefs. Similar to other regions in Africa, Uganda has seen the blending of Islam and Christianity with indigenous faiths, giving rise to various syncretic religious practices.
Prayer for the nation:
Father lord, we pray for the Christians in Uganda that you will take away lukewarmness amongst them in Jesus name.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for all the leaders of Uganda we ask for grace to tackle any challenge the nation faces.
