LIVE NOW: LET YOUR GLORY REST UPON ME – Praying the Promises | 15TH APRIL, 2024.
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. "
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for Your ultimate sacrifice. Help me to understand the depth of Your love and to live a life of sacrifice, following Your example.
Yemen has a rich Christian history, with evidence of Christian presence dating back to the 4th century. However, over the centuries, the Christian population has dwindled significantly due to various factors such as persecution, migration, and political instability. Today, Yemen is considered one of the most dangerous countries for Christians, with only a small number of indigenous Christians remaining, estimated to be around 2,000-3,000. Many have fled the country due to the ongoing conflict, terrorism, and religious persecution.
Father in the name of Jesus, We Pray for the rebuilding of Yemen's economy and infrastructure, and for sustainable development and growth.
Father in the Name of Jesus, we pray for wisdom and compassion for Yemen's government and leaders, and for just and fair decision-making.
Father, in the name of Jesus, We ask that you will lead our laborers to ripe souls today, In Jesus name.
Proverbs 22
2Corinthians 9

THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE
John 15:13
“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.”
The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus stands as the ultimate example of profound sacrifice. He willingly gave up His life to pay the price for our sins, and through His resurrection, He defeated death, offering us the promise of eternal life. His sacrifice encompassed more than just dying; it involved living a life characterized by love, humility, and unwavering obedience to God.
Jesus chose to go to the cross, bearing the punishment that we deserved so that we might be reconciled to God. His sacrificial act is a powerful reminder that our lives are not our own; they belong to Him who gave Himself for us. His example calls us to live selflessly, prioritizing others and dedicating our lives to serving God.
Take time to reflect on how Jesus’ sacrifice has transformed your life. Consider how you can emulate His example by living a life of sacrifice, putting the needs of others before your own, and serving God with a heart full of gratitude. Write down specific ways you can embody this sacrificial love in your daily life, whether through acts of kindness, service, or deepening fellowsghip with God.
