FOCUS ON ETERNAL THINGS.

2 Colossians 3:2
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.”

For some believers, the only time heaven is significantly on their minds is when someone has passed away. The reality of our place with God in eternity gives us comfort in such times and hope for our future with Him, but God desires that we pursue the things of heaven not only in connection with death, but in life as well.

Focusing on the things above means letting the eternal realities of heaven shape your priorities, decisions and actions every day. You are to let the consciousness and value for eternal life be the reason and motivation for why you live and do the things that you do. It means allowing eternity to be the driving force, central focus, and the main influence in your life.

Therefore, how heavenly minded are you right now? What are your priorities? This shift in focus will help you pursue the things of heaven, not just in connection with death but consciously in your daily lives. Glory to God.

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to set my mind on things above and not on earthly things. Remind me daily of your eternal promises and guide me daily to live with a heavenly perspective in Jesus Name.

Prayer for a Nation- ANDORRA

Christianity is the largest religion in Andorra with more than 90 percent of the population as adherents. However, Andorra is also home to sizeable communities of non-religious people (nearly 7 per cent) and adherents of other faiths. Among these are: Sunni Islam, with 1.32 per cent of the population; Hinduism is followed by 0.49 per cent, Judaism by 0.34 per cent, and the Faith by 0.16 per cent.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for more laborers to boldly rise from among the churches that exist in Andorra. In Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Heavenly Father, we pray that leaders who fear God will begin to take their place in the seat of power so that they may lead the people in the fear of God.

Prayer for Israel
Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You baptize the leaders of the church with the spirit of selflessness, that they may discharge their duties in humility and love In Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You grant unto all lost souls in our city repentance and a knowledge of the truth, so that they may escape from the snare of the devil In Jesus’ name.
