🔳 PRAY IN RIGHTEOUSNESS

📖 James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”

God has given to us the right and the privilege of discovering, creating, restoring, or enforcing His will in and around us by the release of sufficient quantities of eternity through the Spirit. This is what prayer is all about. This privilege is however reserved for the righteous only, just as we know that God has given us His nature of righteousness and thus qualifies us to speak like Him and get the necessary compliance like He would get.

God does not want you to come to Him as a slave; He wants you to function from the point of righteousness as this is what makes your prayer acceptable and effective, releasing much power to cause a change. Even when the enemy brings thoughts and accusations of wrong done, do not wallow in guilt or self-pity. Rather, use the provision of the blood to activate forgiveness and cleansing, restoring your confidence towards God in the place of prayer.

Just as Romans 5:1 tells us, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and because of that peace, we can speak to God boldly. Therefore, go to God today with the consciousness of righteousness and not as a beggar. Pray with utmost confidence; you have God’s attention and He is willing to answer. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank you for the gift of righteousness and the privilege to stand before you in the place of prayer. Help me today to walk in the consciousness of my place with you and to be a worthy ambassador of your name, in Jesus Name.

▪Prayer for a Nation
ARUBA
The vast majority of Arubans would identify themselves as Christians, and most of those (about 86%) are within the Catholic church. Christian radio and TV programs are also prominent across the island. Sadly, foreign influences have brought in division within the Church. There also exist a high level of divorce, births outside marriage and drug abuse even amongst teens.

◾Prayer for the Nation:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the churches in the land that Christ will remain their aim and focus in Jesus Name.

◾Prayer for the Leaders:
Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for boldness to rest upon the leaders of this nation that they will begin to make laws that favour the cause of the Gospel, in the name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for Israel:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you will begin to restore Israel through your sovereignty in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for the Unity of the Church:
Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for a Holy Fear to rest upon the church, that believers in the Body will seek to please you above all things, in Jesus Name.

◾Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against and destroy every adversary to the open doors of the gospel in our cities and environs, in Jesus’ name.
