🔳 BE VILIGANT
📖 1 Peter 5:8 (KJV)
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”;
In our walk with God, everything around us is constantly pulling at our attention, attempting to divert our focus from God’s purpose. Whether it’s daily routines, unexpected challenges, or even seemingly good opportunities, anything that does not align with God’s plan is ultimately a distraction. These distractions can weaken our spiritual resolve and hinder the effectiveness of our intercession. This is why our opening scripture emphasises that every believer be sober and vigilant.
A vigilant person is one who remains focused on God’s will, seeing clearly what God wants them to do and refusing to let anything turn their mind away from it. In the place of prayer, vigilance is crucial. It enables us push past the noise and stay focused, ensuring that our prayers get the required answer. By being vigilant, we understand that it is not just the length of our prayers that count but the ability to pray intensely until you receive a word from God regarding your petition.
Therefore, as you engage in intercession, strive to be vigilant. Guard your heart and mind against distractions, and focus on what God has called you to do. Let nothing divert your attention from His will, and you will see your prayers birth the impossible in your life. Hallelujah!

Father, in the Name of Jesus,I ask for grace to be vigilant in my prayer life. Help me to stay focused on Your will so that my intercession may align with your plans and purposes in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will give the leaders of this nation insight into the needs of their communities and discernment to make decisions to lead their states, communities, and nation well.

Father, in the name of Jesus,we as that you destroy and divide the tongues of those who would incite violence against Israel in the Name of Jesus.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the body of Christ will be a formidable force to bringing about a mighty revival on the earth in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost in our city and its environ, that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine unto them, thereby destroying every veil that blinds their minds from the truth in Jesus Name.
