PRAY FOR REVIVAL

 2 Chronicles 7:14
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Many believers today mistakenly view revival solely as an outpouring of the Spirit upon a people or nation. However, true revival goes deeper; it is the sustained willpower against earthly distractions, the passion to pursue the Lord, and the compassion to save souls. Yet, revival doesn’t simply occur on its own—it must be earnestly prayed into existence.

Revival often starts as a message, but for this message to be embraced and bring about genuine transformation in people and society, there must be those willing to commit themselves to prayer. Revival doesn’t happen by chance; it requires individuals who are deeply burdened for change, who desire to see God’s power manifest in their generation, and who will fervently pray until they see it happen. Without such dedicated intercession, the seed of revival cannot be sown, and grow into a movement that changes the hearts of people for God.

Therefore, instead of succumbing to complaints about the decline of churches or the moral struggles of the youth, take action by devoting yourself to prayer and watch the Lord re-awaken the hearts of Men to serve him. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for the grace to stand fervently in the place of prayer, contending for a mighty outpouring of your spirit upon our land in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR A NATION:
BAHAMAS
Bahamians enjoy religious freedoms, with the majority of the population being Christian.
However, Wealth and material things have become extremely important in Bahamian culture and have contributed to a rise in crime – mainly armed robbery and petty theft. Standards of morality have decreased, especially more births out of wedlock and drug use. While the majority of the people claim to be Christian, fewer are committed to the Church, and many churches lack pastoral leadership. The people need spiritual guidance and encouragement to continue the Lord’s work and to minister to the younger generation and the Haitian refugees.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we pray that the believers in this land will live an exemplary life that will attract others to God in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, we pray that every demonic-inspired counsel being given to the President of this nation will be exposed and destroyed in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Oh lord, we ask that you hide them under the shadow of Your wings,from the wicked who oppress them, from their deadly enemies who surround them.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we pray that You will help us to love one another as you have loved us in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for greater wisdom, strategy, and resources that will enable us reach the lost in this city in the Name of Jesus.
