Listen to Praying the Promises
Deuteronomy 5:33 KJV
Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.
Obedience to God is a cornerstone of walking in His purpose. When we align our actions with His instructions, we position ourselves for blessings, favour, and success. Obedience often requires faith and total surrender, as God’s ways may not always align with our understanding. However, walking in obedience ensures that we are on the path to fulfilling His divine plan.
Like we see in our opening text, God assures His people that walking in His ways brings life, wellness, and fulfillment of His promises. Obedience demands trusting in God’s Word and stepping out in faith, even when the journey seems uncertain. It also requires a heart of humility, ready to submit to His will above personal desires. As we walk in obedience, we are empowered by God to overcome challenges and achieve what He has called us to do.
Make the choice today to walk in obedience. Seek God’s guidance through prayer and His Word, and take steps of faith as He directs. Trust that God’s instructions are for your good and His glory. As you obey, you will see His faithfulness manifest in every area of your life. Hallelujah!
START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to be Obedient to You in every season of my life, that regardless of the situations around me, I may prioritize pleasing You above chasing my own desires in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CAMBODIA
Since the 15th century, Buddhism has been the national religion in Cambodia. Today 85 percent of the population is Buddhist, while less than two percent is Evangelical Christian. In spite of past governmental attempts to eliminate all religions, Christianity has survived. Christians have worshiped openly since 1990, and indigenous church planters have established many new churches. The overwhelming social and emotional traumas of the past have left people open to the gospel. Mature Christian leadership is crucial to mobilize the churches to meet the needs of the people today.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of perverseness and falsehood militating against believers in this nation, cause the light of Your truth to shine in their hearts, driving away every darkness in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, cause Your hand of justice to rest on the leaders, break every wall of defense in their hearts, that Your Word may gain free access into their hearts, that they may know Your will and align with it in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause those who desire the destruction of Israel to disappointed in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for the spirit of tolerance, forgiveness and brotherly love to rest mightily upon the churches of the nations, cause every unholy contention to cease in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, cause the spirit of evangelism to rest on all who believe in Your name, that they may boldly preach the gospel in every street, leading to a mass harvest of souls into Your kingdom in Jesus Name.
