LABOUR WITH YOUR GIFT

“1Corinthians 4:7 – For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it , why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it ?.
”

Every good and perfect gift comes from above, and God did not bestow gifts upon us for show off or comparison. Rather, we are to invest or utilize our gifts in such a way that it attracts others to Christ and brings glory to His name.

God is a fisher of men, and your gift is a bait He has designed to get people hooked to Him. Your gift should attract people so that they can be hooked to Christ. It may be your voice, looks or even your intelligence. Putting your gift to work in such a way that your gift in operation can bring men to God is witnessing.

The proof that you are living a true Christian life is that your life is getting people hooked to Jesus. It is understanding individuality, knowing your uniqueness and understanding that there is something special about you that can attract people to God.

Therefore, as a true witness, strive to make your gift relevant in your sphere of contact. With your gift, develop influence and affluence and make impact in such a way as to generate followership where witnessing is concerned. This will determine our relevance in the age to come.
