📖 Romans 4:17 KJV
“(as it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

As humans who live in the sensory realm, it is quite natural to defer to our senses. This is because we have been trained or conditioned to function with our senses, feeling and emotion. However, faith is not a feeling but a currency that we can trade to access the benefits of our salvation in the realms of the spirit.

Our opening scripture today speaks of Abraham, who we refer to as the father of faith. The Bible shows us that against hope, He believed what God promised, knowing that He can bring out life out of every dead situation. Thus, activating the power of God on our behalf begins with acknowledging His infinite power, and will keep His promises regardless of all odds.

Therefore, learn to hold God at His word, obey His commandments, and do His will irrespective of any feelings and emotions and activate the Hand of God upon any situation. Shift your focus from what you feel to the truth of His word, because He faithful to do just what He says. Hallelujah!

Furthermore,the country faces challenges such as economic instability, social inequality, and a rising secularism that have tendecies to strain the moral and spiritual fabric of its society.

◾Prayer for the Nation: Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that in the midst of all the hardship and pain, you will cause the heart of many to turn to you for succour, that they may be saved and established in your Kingdom, in the Name of Jesus.
◾Prayer for the Leaders: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will cause your wisdom to rest upon the leaders of this nation, so they can effectively arrest the economic decline in the nation, in Jesus Name.

◾Prayer for Israel:
Oh Lord, we pray for the nation Israel, and we ask that you surround her with your mighty angels and shield her from all harm in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for the Unity of the Church:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for grace to bear and build each other in love in the Name of Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you would surround the unsaved in our city with people of different ages who believe in you Name in the Name of Jesus.
