AIM TO PLEASE GOD

2 Corinthians 5:9 KJV
“Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.”

As we journey through life, it is important to remember that your actions, sacrifice and efforts are not just for earthly recognition but they most importantly have an eternal relevance before God. Our Opening text emphasizes what our ultimate goal should be and that is to be accepted by God. This scripture emphasises the importance of examining the motives behind everything you do.

Sacrifices made from the heart are those that truly show how much we reverence God. Whether it is giving our time, resources, or oblations(offering, Tithe, seeds,etc), what matters most is the attitude and intention behind our actions. God is ultimate and all blessings come from him so, if you sacrifice just to show off and please man, the blessings of God can not rest on you.

Therefore, take a moment to examine your every activity. Are they pleasing to God? Are you sacrificing with the right heart and intentions? It is not too late to seek God’s guidance in aligning your motives with His will. Hallelujah.

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to offer up to you sacrifices that are pleasing to you always in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer for a Nation-ALGERIA

Islam is the states religion as they believe the only religion that should exist and has the right to exist is the Muslim religion.
The country ranks at number 19 for high levels of Christian persecution but a number of Christians have counted the cost and they prefer to carry the cross no matter how hard it may be for them, even to a point maybe to lose their lives. They still would consider following Jesus better than anything else.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for the spirit of boldness to rest upon the church that like never before, they will step out proclaiming the power in your name in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders
 Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for the leaders of this nation, that their eyes will be opened to recognise Jesus as the only way, truth and life in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Israel
Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Father in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you will give us the grace to forbear one another in love so that we will not give room to the enemy to attack us in the Name of Jesus.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause our laborers to walk in signs and wonders as they reach out to the unsaved in the name of Jesus.
