Listen to Praying the Promises
Psalm 119:105 KJV– “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
The world is filled with several distractions, conflicting ideologies and diverse opinions, and finding time to study the Word to know the mind of God concerning our lives seem like such a huge task. Walking through life without being grounded in the Word can lead to confusion, compromise, and spiritual stagnation.
Aligning with the Word of God means making His truth the standard by which every thought, action, and decision is measured. The Word of God is the standard for living, in it lies answers to every issue. The understanding and application of it in all aspects of your life gives you the upper hand in all situations. Not only does it bring clarity and direction, it makes you know what the will of the Father is and what he expects from you in every season He brings you into. Making it habitual to study the Word to know the mind of God and His responses to situations allows the Word to take root in you, bringing you into oneness with Him. A believer who feeds his mind continually with the Word is guaranteed to make sound decisions 99.9% of the time. This state of being is a true depiction of what it means to align with the Word. Glory to God!
Today, commit to studying, meditating, and applying the Word in every area of your life. Let it illuminate your path and correct any misalignment in your thoughts or actions. The more you align yourself with the Word, the more you will see God’s promises manifest in your life.
START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to align my life with Your Word, teach me Your ways and lead me according to Your truth, cause every part of my being to reflect the light of Your Word, that I may stay in alignment with Your will all the days of my life in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
Burundi
Ninety-four percent of Burundians identify themselves as Christian, but syncretism and false teachings have subverted the truth of the Gospel. Realizing that shallow Christianity cannot meet the challenges of life, Burundians have been purging their churches of false practices and have seen sustained evangelical growth. But ethnic strife has forced most Bible schools to close and has left the nation with few trained leaders and pastors.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray against the imposition of traditional believes and practices over Your Word, we ask that those who practice this will be saved and surrender totally to Your Lordship in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that the leaders will know the Truth, deliver them from all forms of satanic manipulations, that they may boldly declare Your name in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that every disagreement within the land will be peacefully resolved, that they may stand as one united front against their enemies in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for a release of fresh fire over the church, that there be no trace of lukewarmness or coldness among believers in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that by Your mercy, You would penetrate into the hearts of souls, cause every hidden sin to be revealed, that they may be completely free evil manipulations in Jesus Name.
