“Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”
For two things to perfectly align, they must have identical components and characteristics. Water does not mix with oil because they both have different components. In the same way, you cannot be aligned with God, if you do not show the same characteristics as He.
Our opening text shows us one of these characteristics. It says that as God is holy, so we ought to be holy. What is holiness? Holiness refers to the continued effort the believer makes, to separate himself from the corruption and filthiness in the world. This kind of separation is ongoing as long as we remain in this filthy world.
Therefore, to be aligned with God who is set apart or holy, we too must take deliberate steps daily to separate ourselves from the world and evil, the works of the flesh like adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, and revellings. If you will fully be aligned with Him, you must be holy as He is.
Prophecy 1: May you be empowered to live a holy life in Jesus’ name.
Prophecy 2: As you step you out today, may helpers arise on your behalf in Jesus’ name.

W: Meditate on our opening text today and ask the Lord to help you live a holy life.
