Listen to Praying the Promises
Proverbs 28:1 KJV– “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as lion.”
Fear and hesitation can paralyze progress, preventing you from taking the steps God has ordained for you. Whether it is fear of failure, rejection, or opposition, it often keeps believers from stepping out and walking in their God-given authority.
To be bold is to act in faith and confidence, rooted in the knowledge of who God is. Boldness is borne out of a deep relationship with God and a strong conviction in His Word. When you stand on God’s truth, fear loses its grip, you are empowered to overcome obstacles, speak with authority, and take hold of the promises of God, even when the odds seem stacked against you. Be confident in what God put inside you, you are not an empty vessel, you have the spirit of God in you therefore, do not be timid. You may have been told no before and doors may have been shut against you, go back there and try again. This time, with boldness and confidence, knowing the emperor of the universe is back you. shout hallelujah!
Choose today to reject fear and embrace boldness. Step forward in confidence, trusting that God is with you. Speak His Word over your circumstances and act with courage in every situation He leads you into.
START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the name of Jesus, give me grace to be bold as I pursue my goals this year, fill me with your Word, that I may stand strong in faith, casting aside every fear in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
Burundi
Ninety-four percent of Burundians identify themselves as Christian, but syncretism and false teachings have subverted the truth of the Gospel. Realizing that shallow Christianity cannot meet the challenges of life, Burundians have been purging their churches of false practices and have seen sustained evangelical growth. But ethnic strife has forced most Bible schools to close and has left the nation with few trained leaders and pastors.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the believers in this land will develop a strong appetite for the Truth, that false teachers will have no choice than to succumb to the Truth in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that Your spirit of excellence and discernment will rest on the leaders, that no guile be found in them in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, remember Your promises to Israel, cause those who desire her downfall to be confounded in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You bind the churches together in love, that there be no room for unholy competition in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for a revival in our cities, cause the hearts of Your children to return to You in Jesus Name.
