BE DISCIPLINED

As a new year unfolds, many believers write down their visions and goals, eagerly hoping to see God’s promises fulfilled in their lives. These aspirations often begin with enthusiasm and faith, but as the months go by, some find that their goals drift away, leaving them feeling frustrated and discouraged.

Listen to Praying the Promises

1 Corinthians 9:24 KJV-
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.”

As a new year unfolds, many believers write down their visions and goals, eagerly hoping to see God’s promises fulfilled in their lives. These aspirations often begin with enthusiasm and faith, but as the months go by, some find that their goals drift away, leaving them feeling frustrated and discouraged. Why does this happen? Often, the gap between our God-given vision and our ability to achieve it comes down to one crucial element—discipline. Discipline is the fuel that brings life to our vision, aligning our intentions with purposeful, consistent actions grounded in faith.

Discipline enables you to stay focused on God’s calling even when your own motivation fades. A disciplined believer doesn’t wait for the perfect moment or a surge of motivation; instead, they are driven by their vision and purpose in Christ. Every disciplined action becomes a step toward the fulfillment of God’s promises, a building block for the future He has planned. In this way, discipline is more than just self-restraint—it is the divine structure that turns visions into reality.

This year, commit your vision to the Lord and ask Him to strengthen you with the spirit of discipline. Let every small, consistent step bring you closer to the future He has designed for you. Embrace discipline as a tool from God, not as a burden, and trust that He will provide the grace you need to see your vision come to life.

START-UP PRAYER
Oh Lord, I ask for the strength and discipline to pursue the vision You have placed in my heart. Help me to stay focused and committed, even when challenges arise or motivation fades in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BURKINA FASO
Extreme poverty has led to massive migration of workers to Cote d’Ivoire for seasonal work, where the majority convert to Islam. Approximately half the population is Muslim and the remainder is equally divided among Christians and ethnic religions. Unfortunately, each of these groups is also deeply involved in the occult. The church has not escaped the challenges facing the Burkinabe. There is great need for leadership, mentoring, financial support, and a willingness to evangelize the unreached.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we pray for a revival in the hearts of the Christians in this land, that the Holy Spirit would awaken a deep hunger for truth and righteousness across the nation.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for our leaders, that You will guide them in making laws that protect and promote the practice of Christianity. We ask that You grant them wisdom to create policies that allow believers to freely worship, share the Gospel, and live according to Your Word without fear or hindrance in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus,  we ask  for the exposure and uprooting of outrageous and hateful lies about Israel and the Jews which are reported daily in nearly all mainstream and social media, including some Christian media outlets in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we pray that You raise up laborers for the great harvest of souls. Equip and anoint Your people to preach the Gospel boldly, with signs and wonders following, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we cry out for a revival in our land. Pour out Your spirit afresh, igniting a passion for holiness, prayer and soul-winning in Jesus Name.
