BE MINDED TO SERVE

Matthew 20:28
“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.“

One important aspect of Christianity is service. Just as we see in our opening text and contrary to what we would expect, Jesus Christ came to this world to serve and not to be served. His life of service sets a standard for us to follow in our daily lives.

Having a servant’s heart means not only putting the needs of others ahead of your own, but also serving with the right motivation, which is to put God’s will first. When you choose to serve others, you reflect the love of Christ, and through your act of service, you can draw others closer to Him.

Therefore, rewards and recognition should not be the sole motivation by which you serve. Rather, be minded to serve others so that the love of Christ would be felt through your acts of service, especially in a world that struggles to believe. Hallelujah!

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Father, I thank you for your word today. I ask in the Name of Jesus, that you will give me a heart like yours so that I can represent your love to my world in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer for a Nation-ANDORRA

Christianity is the largest religion in Andorra with more than 90 percent of the population as adherents. However, Andorra is also home to sizeable communities of non-religious people (nearly 7 per cent) and adherents of other faiths. Among these are: Sunni Islam, with 1.32 per cent of the population; Hinduism is followed by 0.49 per cent, Judaism by 0.34 per cent, and the Faith by 0.16 per cent.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for more laborers to boldly rise from among the churches that exist in Andorra. In Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Heavenly Father, we pray that leaders who fear God will begin to take their place in the seat of power so that they may lead the people in the fear of God.

Prayer for Israel
Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You baptize the leaders of the church with the spirit of selflessness, that they may discharge their duties in humility and love In Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You grant unto all lost souls in our city repentance and a knowledge of the truth, so that they may escape from the snare of the devil In Jesus’ name.
