Be Prompt to Obey

📖 Hebrews 11:7 KJV
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Obedience is a crucial aspect of our walk with God, especially as it relates to faith. When God speaks, our response should be immediate and wholehearted, trusting that His commands are for our good and His glory.

Just like we see in our opening text, Noah was prompt to obey God out of his deep reverence for Him. Delayed obedience equates to disobedience. It shows a lack of trust in God’s sovereignty and timing. When God gives us a command, He expects us to act promptly because His instructions are tied to His perfect plan and timing.

Today, develop a heart that is eager to obey God’s commands, no matter how challenging they may seem. When you do not understand the full picture, trust that God knows what is best and follows His lead.

Start-Up Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You remove any hesitation or doubt from my heart and fill me with courage to obey immediately. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Traditionally a Christian nation with freedom of religion, Australia is becoming increasingly secular. While the majority of the population still claims to be Christian, only 10% attend church regularly.The Church is being challenged by a New Age, self-created spirituality, and more people are developing negative attitudes toward the Church.

◾Prayer for the Nation:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders in this nation that they will demonstrate the power of God everywhere in this Nation in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for the Leaders:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you will cause the Leaders to have life-changing encounters with you that will cause them to align with your will and purpose in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for Israel:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established all through the city in Jesus Name.

◾Prayer for the Unity of the Church:
Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus we pray for a Holy Fear of the Lord to rest upon the church, that believers in the Body will seek to please you above all things, in Jesus Name.

◾Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against and destroy every adversary to the open doors of the gospel in our cities and environs, in Jesus’ name.
