BE TRANSFORMED IN WORSHIP 

“2 Corinthians 3:18 – But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord..

Our opening text today highlights the power of fellowship with God and its power to change and conform us to His image. Each time we engage in fellowship with God, whether through words, music, or other forms of fellowship, we are directing our adoration and affection towards Him. It is a heartfelt adoration that begins from within us, more than just about our external actions; it is an outpouring from the depths of our hearts.

Through worship, we have the opportunity to encounter the glory of God and be transformed by it. As we fix our gaze upon Him, we are changed from one degree of glory to another, just like our opening text shows us. The frequency of our worship therefore can be compared to the frequency of our transformation. As we fix our gaze on Christ, we become more like Him.

Therefore, embrace the power of worship and allow it to shape you from the inside out. Take time each day to engage in uninterrupted fellowship with the Lord, so that you may be transformed by His Presence and glory. Hallelujah!

Startup Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the transforming power of your Presence. Help me to keep my gaze on you and abide in your Presence daily, that I may become who you want me to be, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – PORTUGAL
As a predominantly Catholic country, Portugal is even further unified by the culturally embedded traditions and practices of the Church. The Portuguese youth in particular are overlooked, and New Age ideals, Mormonism, and Jehovah’s Witnesses are beginning to take hold of those who do not know Christ. Increasing pursuit of individualism and material gain further blind the people from seeing their need for a Savior.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a greater door of the Gospel to be opened in this nation, that many will come to know the Lord as their savior in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will give the leaders of this nation, a humble spirit to not only know but to act on the truth that they know in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Church will stand firm an perfect in the will of God in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we tear down every religious veil that is stopping the people in our cities from receiving the Gospel that we preach, in Jesus name.
