“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Galatians 5:22-23

Righteousness is the nature of the recreated man but holiness is the fruit of that nature. This means that a righteous man is not automatically a holy man. You cannot attain righteousness because it is a nature impacted into your spirit at salvation but you can attain holiness.

To be holy, a righteous man must deliberately live out or manifest the fruits of righteousness. This is what the scripture refers to as the fruits of the Spirit in our opening text.

Therefore, it is important that you become deliberate about living right with God in holiness, by walking in the fruits of the Spirit. When you manifest the fruits of the Spirit, your lifestyle of holiness can impact men and draw them to Christ. Glory to God!
