BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING

Proverbs 11:24-25
“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself,”

The blessing is God’s ability to do the impossible, only accessible by faith in Christ Jesus. It is the ability of God in a believer that makes it possible for him to enjoy increase and prosperity in every area of his life. Armed with the blessing, a believer is empowered or enabled to prosper and succeed.

Consider Abraham, promised by God to become “a blessing to all the nations” (Gen. 12:2). He knew that his prosperity was not just for his own comfort, but that it was meant to impact generations to come. The early church, fueled by the Holy Spirit, practiced such radical generosity that “there was no needy person among them” (Acts 4:34). Their blessings became a source of comfort for the hurting and a testament to the transformative power of faith.

How then do we embody this beautiful principle? It is spending time praying and reaching out to lost souls using the resources that God has blessed us with, offering a listening ear to someone in need and comforting them with the word of God, or simply extending a helping hand when the opportunity arises. The key is to see ourselves as carriers of God’s love, allowing our blessings to flow outward and make a difference in the world around us. Halleluyah!

Timor-Leste is one of the few countries in Asia where the majority of the population identify as Christian (99.6%), most of whom are Roman Catholic (97.6%).The remaining population identify with Islam (0.2%) or some other religion (0.2%). However, despite such a strong Church presence, Timor-Leste is a troubled place: one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia, some 46 percent of East Timorese have never received any formal education. More than one-third of its population faces food shortages on a regular basis. Additionally, this nation has one of the world’s most traumatic recent histories.

Prayer for the nation:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will raise missionaries after your heart, who will give all it takes to reach the unreached in this nation, according to your divine plan, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the leaders:

Father in the name of Jesus,, we ask for your wisdom to rest upon the leadership of the nation, and that their hearts may be yielded to the counsel of your Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every Satanic force against the church seeking to cause division within our ranks, in Jesus nam

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the hearts of the people in our cities, communities, villages, and nation, both great and small, will be opened to the Gospel of Jesus Christ
