One of the greatest fuels for the fire of the Holy Ghost is praying in other tongues. Just like our opening text reflects, the believer who speaks in other tongues edifies or builds up himself. This is akin to the building up of electrical charges in a battery in a process known as charging.

Praying in the Holy Ghost charges up your spirit, and when you speak more and more in tongues, it goes beyond a charge to a fire which will lead to an explosion in your spirit. Just like one can over-charge a battery and cause an explosion and an outburst of fire, speaking in tongues produces this kind of fire.

When you speak in tongues, a lot happens in the spirit that the mind cannot even pick or comprehend. Things are broken, destroyed and the desired is planted. Thus, it is important that you take advantage of speaking in tongues because it brings empowerment into your spirit.

Therefore, get yourself out of your comfort zone and begin to speak in tongues. Release your body, soul, and spirit in this realm, and soon, you would notice the Holy Spirit beginning to take over your mortal body. Very soon, you would be totally away from your feeling and never want to stop. It is at this point the fire begins to burn.
