CONNECT TO GRACE
2 Kings 3:11 KJV
"But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. "
One powerful, yet often overlooked, way of connecting to God's grace is through sacrifice. In 2 Kings 3:11, we see Elisha, referred to as the one who "poured water on the hands of Elijah,"
a record of performing a profound act of service and humility to God's anointed. This act of sacrifice positioned him to receive a double portion of Elijah’s spirit and to step into his prophetic calling.
In our walk with God, making sacrifices for His work and choosing to serve those that He places over us, whether in our workplace or in the house of God, positions us to receive from Him.
These acts of service do not go unnoticed by the Lord and invariably open us up to tap into graces that we might not even naturally qualify for. By our sacrificial intercession, giving, or service, we position our self to partake of certain graces.
erefore, what is that grace you so much admire? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what sacrifice you ought to make to partake of it. As you obey, get ready to walk in realms that are seemingly impossible. Glory to God.
🙏 Startup Prayer
Dear Father, I thank you for your word today and I ask that you would open my eyes to see the graces I need for my life and the sacrifices I need to make to partake of it in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION - Afghanistan
Afghanistan is a Muslim-majority country with a small Christian minority. There is no official count of Christians in Afghanistan, as many are forced to keep their faith secret due to persecution. However, estimates suggest that there are only a few hundred to a few thousand Christians in the country.
Christianity is not recognized as a legitimate religion in Afghanistan, and converts from Islam face severe discrimination and even death. The country's constitution only recognizes Islam as the official religion, and apostasy (converting from Islam to another religion) is punishable by death.
Despite these challenges, there are some underground churches and Christian communities in Afghanistan, mostly made up of expatriates and converts from other religions. However, their activities are heavily restricted, and they often face harassment and intimidation from authorities and extremist groups.
Prayer for the nation:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for appearances of the Lord Jesus to the people of Afghanistan that they will be mass conversion across Afghanistan in Jesus Name.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that there will be a sudden hunger amongst the leaders of Afghanistan to know and encounter you in Jesus Name.
🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Father, cause Israel to be victorious against her enemies, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE Dear father, we pray that you will help the Body of Christ to walk worthy and fully please you in all things in Jesus Name.
💒PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for every unsaved soul and we dismantle every lie of the enemy in their minds. We speak the Light of Jesus right now in Jesus Name. Amen.
