DEVELOP INTIMACY WITH GOD

“Matthew 5:6 – ‘Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled..”

When God created man in the beginning, the Bible says He came in the cool of the day to fellowship with man. He was not there to check whether Adam had watered the garden or pruned the flowers. Rather, God came to fellowship with man. This shows us the value that God places on fellowship and intimacy with man.

It is impossible to grow in intimacy with someone with whom you spend increasingly less time each passing day, because building intimacy takes time and unbroken fellowship. A desire to know the LORD more, which is not followed up with the devotion of specific and specified time to fellowshipping with God, is a mere waste of time.


God’s vision for you is that you wake up each day, putting Him first, and going into the day working with Him. He desires for you to have a continuous dependency on Him all through your day, and to keep your mind stayed on Him.

Therefore, do everything within your power to Give God more time each day and reset your focus on Him. This may simply mean reorganizing your daily schedule or by waking up earlier for instance, so you may attend to the Lord in fellowship. This is what promotes you in the spirit and increases your value with God. Halleluyah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – RWANDA
Rwanda has made great progress in many areas since the tragic events of 1994-1995. The nation’s infrastructure was greatly brutalized during the conflicts but political stability since 2000 has allowed for rebuilding and developing of the economy. Rwanda is now one of the fastest growing country economically in Africa.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the door of the gospel will be opened to the unreached people in this nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, ask that you will help the leaders of Rwanda to develop innovative ways on how to grow the economy of this nation.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the spirit of grace and supplication will rest upon the church, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of the air that operates through satellite and television to promote sin and wickedness.
