DEVELOP THE HEART FOR GIVING

2 Corinthians 9:7″ Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
“

One of the most profound ways to reflect Christ’s love is through the act of giving. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, and Christ gave it all on the cross to pay the price for our redemption. These depths of sacrifice is a product of love, and a clear picture of how we ought to love, and thereby give.

From our opening text today, we see Apostle Paul providing a clear directive on how we should approach giving. The first point to consider is that giving should be done from a willing heart. Next, it should be done cheerfully and then, it should be free of compulsion. That is, it should be prompted by the Holy Spirit and deeply rooted in love.

Overall, remember that it is not about the amount you give, instead it is about how you give. Therefore, with every opportunity that you have to offer unto the Lord or to give to others around you, seek to give willingly, cheerfully and freely, knowing that in doing so, you are honouring God and demonstrating His love to your world. Hallelujah!

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that you will help me cultivate a heart that gives willingly and remove any reluctance from my heart in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for a Nation-ANDORRA

Christianity is the largest religion in Andorra with more than 90 percent of the population as adherents. Heavenly father, we ask that you help the leaders to lead with compassion and integrity, in the name of Jesus.

Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Father in the name of Jesus, cause the spirit of oneness and unity to rest upon every believer in our nation today, that we may stand together as one to fulfil your will, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon our city today, and cause us to reap a mighty harvest of souls into your Kingdom, in the name of Jesus.
