BUILD YOUR ALTAR

📖 Judges 6:24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

There are times when we face challenges and repeated setbacks that defy explanation, even when success seems within reach. Often, these patterns can be traced back to spiritual issues rooted in our bloodlines and ancestral lineage. However, as believers, we can overcome these obstacles through prayer and the power of altars.

Fasting is a powerful tool to overcoming this challenge, as it helps bring the body under subjection, allowing the spirit to take charge.

Among the different types of fast, the fasting of the tongue is particularly important for those engaged in travailing prayers. By controlling our words, we create an environment where our words are purposeful and directed by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible teaches that controlling our tongue enables us to control our entire body, making our prayers more effective. This discipline extends beyond abstaining from

food; it includes abstaining from unnecessary conversations that can weaken our spiritual sensitivity and corrupt our spirit. As we control our tongue, we align ourselves more closely with God's spirit, making our prayers more powerful and effective.

Therefore, consciously speak words that give hope, express love, and build faith in the heart. This way, God is glorified, and souls are drawn to salvation. Hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for grace to bridle my tongue and not engage in matters that are beyond my jurisdiction in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION AZERBAIJAN
Over eighty-six percent of the nation’s ten million citizens are practicing Muslims. Religious institutions are still required to register with the Azeri government in order to congregate,

and religious literature must be approved before publishing.Christians are often harassed by law enforcement, threatened by heavy fines, and forced to avoid congregating because of the inability to adhere to strict regulations.

Many citizens are imprisoned for worshipping without proper registration.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Gospel of Christ will gain ascendancy in the hearts of the people of this land in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that your Holy Fear will rest upon the Leaders of this nation so that they may begin to lead the people in your ways only, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you destroy and divide the tongues of those who would incite violence against Israel.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will strengthen our hunger to know and be intimate with you so that we may walk according to your divine plan always in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in reaching the people in our various cities and environs in Jesus Name.

ENGAGE IN MEDITATION

Psalms 119:148
“I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise.”

Many believers today have become accustomed to rushing into prayer when confronted with challenges, but few take the time to meditate on God’s Word concerning the situation. The busyness of life often hinders us from observing quiet times where our minds can focus on God, and His precious promises to us. The psalmist understood the importance of stillness, choosing the quiet of the night to meditate on God’s Word.

While prayer is essential, it is in the place of meditation that our faith is strengthened and our expectations align with God’s promises. Instead of fixating on the problem, which only magnifies it, we should focus on God’s Word, allowing it to guide our prayers and expectations. This quiet reflection allows us to internalize God’s promises, giving us the confidence to believe for the answers we seek.

Make it a priority to incorporate meditation into your spiritual routine. Set aside time to meditate on God’s Word and who He is. As you do this, the answers to your prayers will begin to unfold, and your faith in Him will grow stronger. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:
Oh Lord, teach me to meditate on Your promises and trust in Your timing, so that my prayers may align to your will in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BAHRAIN
83.2% of the population claim to follow Islam and 9.8% claim to be Christians predominantly foreigners). Although, Bahrain has opened its doors to some Christian influence, Proselytism remains illegal and local Christians struggle to freely practice their faith, some worshipping in secret. According to its citizens, Bahrain still remains desperately in need of the Gospel.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for appearances of the Lord Jesus in the dreams and visions of the unsaved in this Nation so that they might be drawn to you and completely saved in Jesus Name

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS:
Oh Lord, we pray that the leaders of this land will have compassion for the poor and less privileged in the nation, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Oh Lord, we ask that you will raise up elders and young leaders to teach and train the new generation of Israelis who are coming to faith in the Messiah in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray and declare that every attempt of hell to sabotage and discredit the Church will not stand, but the truth of your Word will prevail in the heart of every believer in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you cause the light of your Gospel to shine more and more in our city today, so that we will reap an unprecedented harvest of souls, in Jesus name.
