SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Mark 11:21
And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
From our opening scripture we find that Jesus spoke to a fig tree and cursed it. The next day, His disciples who were struck by amazement, brought His attention to the fig tree showing Him that it had withered. We capture a very amazing happening here, as we see that Jesus was in no way surprised when His attention was brought to the fig tree! It seemed to Him that He was not expecting anything different!; rather, He gave a simple yet profound response; “Have faith in God”!…meaning that we can have this same experience using our own faith in God. Halleluyah!
Your faith determines your possibilities; not the other way round. As seen in the scriptures above, your earnest expectation is a proof of your faith, and it is bound to manifest. Therefore if you want overflowing blessings in your life. You must set your expectation in that direction, having faith in God just as Jesus said!
You are already blessed but you need to begin setting your expectations right! Rid your heart of every fear and contrary expectation that negates God’s will for your life and His promise of overflow to you this season. Create expectations by your faith. Have faith in God! Halleluyah!
