FOCUS ON GOD’S PROMISES
Psalm 27:1
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Challenges and uncertainties are a part of life on this earth, and often times, believers make the mistake of allowing the thoughts of this world lead them into fear and anxiety.
This should not be the case, because it is in such trying moments that we ought to shift our focus from the challenges to God's Promises.
In our opening text, we see David boast in the integrity of God. Rather than fear, he expressed his confidence in God and chose to magnify His Name. When we focus on God's promises, we receive strength in our inner man to face the challenges that stand in our way.
Furthermore, as we magnify God in praise, we give Him room to perform His word because he never goes back on His words!
Therefore, let this be your confidence as you step out today. Rather than meditate on the issues of this life, exalt God by meditating on His promises.
As you do so, He will respond by shutting down every enemy and give you a reason to testify. Hallelujah!
🙏 Startup Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to prioritize and meditate on your promises for me in the name of Jesus.
