🔳 GROOM YOUR EXPECTATION

📖 2Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.”

Just as our opening scripture today shows us, God has made available to us everything that we could possibly need for our earthly comfort and spiritual growth. However, if we do not fully accept this truth; we may never get to enjoy it in our lives. The reason some believers do not experience God’s supernatural and miraculous supply in their lives is because they simply do not expect it, yet God has made so much available for them.

The scriptures are full of testimonies of men who through faith received what they required for their assignment from God. Many others received healings, deliverance, breakthroughs etc. according to the measure of their faith. For instance, the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus’ garment expecting to be healed, and so it happened, validating the principle that to receive from God, your expectation sets you up for your experience.

In the same way, you will only experience the supernatural power of God when you position yourself with expectation. So, as you study the scriptures today, take note of the promises of God and set your heart in expectation for their manifestation in your life, knowing that what you believe for, anticipate and constantly declare in the Word will certainly come to pass. Amen!

Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to align my expectation with your Word

▪Prayer for a Nation
ARUBA
The vast majority of Arubans would identify themselves as Christians, and most of those (about 86%) are within the Catholic church. Christian radio and TV programs are also prominent across the island. Sadly, foreign influences have brought in division within the Church. There also exist a high level of divorce, births outside marriage and drug abuse even amongst teens.

◾Prayer for the Nation:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the church and we ask that the grace to care for all those caught in addictions and human trafficking will rest mightily upon them in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the legislators of this nation that you will give them the boldness to begin to make laws that discourage immorality in the land in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for Israel:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you will yet again have compassion upon the people of this nation and subdue their iniquities in the Name of Jesus.

◾Prayer for the Unity of the Church:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the spiritual gifts you have given to each member of the Body of Christ. We pray that You reveal and develop these gifts in us for the edification of the church and the advancement of Your Kingdom, in Jesus Name, Amen.

◾Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you cause every unsaved soul to feel your unconditional love, grace and mercy in the Name of Jesus.
