Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that you search my heart and rid me of anything that does not bring you glory in the name of Jesus.
Christianity is the official and largest religion in Samoa, with its various denominations accounting for around 98% of the total population. Although there is no official estimate, there are reportedly small numbers of Hindus, Buddhists, Jews and traditional believers, primarily in Apia.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the Christians in this nation that they will remain united together to fight every evil in this land.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of this nation that they will not be led by selfish desires but will begin to lead the people by the spirit of God always in the Name of Jesus.
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for grace to intercede fervently for the souls of the unsaved in the place of prayers.

GUARD YOUR HEART.
2 Chronicles 25:2
“And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.”
Our Opening Text today, shows a King called Amaziah who did everything he had been asked to do, even though he harbored a contrary opinion or hideous motive in his heart. If the Bible says Amaziahs heart was imperfect, it means that his deeds were unacceptable to God.
Once, Samuel had almost appointed a King based on appearances, but God corrected him thus; man looks on the outward, But I look at the heart. (1Sam. 16:7). God is a heart-farmer and motives matter with Him. It is quite possible to go to church absentmindedly or give grudgingly. These heart dispositions may not be seen on the face, yet they are loud before God; louder than your act of service themselves.
Thus, it is expedient to constantly give your heart a check each time it seems to go against what God has said. It is your duty to convince your mind using the word of God in meditation each and every day until your heart aligns to what God has said. Then, you would do what Gods Word says because you truly believe them, and thats where the blessing is! Hallelujah
