Isaiah 12:3 (KJV)
“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
One of the enemy’s most subtle tactics is to steal the joy of believers, weakening their connection to God’s power in everyday life. It might seem simple, but the enemy understands that joy is vital to our spiritual resilience and victory. When joy fades, faith and strength often falter, which is precisely why the enemy uses disappointment, fear, and distractions to drain us of joy.
Our opening text today reveals that joy is like a well from which we draw God’s goodness and blessings. When we praise God, it activates His blessings and causes a breakthrough. Yet, true praise flows from a joyful heart. This is why the enemy works hard to shift your focus from God’s promises to life’s challenges, trying to bring fear, bitterness, or worry. Guarding your joy is essential to sustaining the atmosphere of praise around you and ultimately activating God’s blessings in your life. Glory to God!
Today, choose to focus on His faithfulness rather than challenges. Rejoice in who God is and praise Him with all your might, knowing that through joy-filled praise, blessings are released into your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BOTSWANA
Despite being ranked as a middle-income country and having a high literacy rate, unemployment has risen to nearly 20%, and the scourge of AIDS still haunts them. Twenty-two percent of the population is infected with HIV/AIDS, and 100,000 children are AIDS orphans. But comprehensive and effective treatment programs have saved many lives but, even though 65% of the population identifies as Christian, animism and old tribal rituals are often mixed into their faith. This syncretism has led to the decline of many strong churches.
