INTERCEDE FOR SPIRITUAL LEADERS

2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 (KJV)
“Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.” 

Spiritual leaders, especially those involved in spiritual warfare, often face intense opposition from the enemy. Many are attacked, and some, unable to endure, are forgotten over time. The challenges they face are not only physical but also deeply spiritual, as the enemy targets their effectiveness in advancing God’s kingdom. This is why it is important that unceasing prayers is made on their behalf.

In our opening text, the Apostle Paul urges the believers in Thessalonica to pray for him, specifically asking that the word of God may have free course and be glorified. The enemy fiercely opposes the spread of God’s word because it holds the power to save, deliver, and transform lives. He plants obstacles and imaginations in the hearts of people to prevent them from receiving the truth. Also, we are to pray that God delivers them from wicked and unreasonable men who have no faith, but desire to bring evil upon these leaders by attacking their families, finances, and even members, just to cause a diversion in their minds and stop them from focusing wholeheartedly on what God has called them to do.

Therefore, make it a point of duty to always intercede for your spiritual leaders. Pray that God’s word will break through barriers of unbelieve and be glorified. Also ask for God’s protection over them, that they may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men who lack faith so through them, God’s plan will come into full manifestation. Hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER
Oh Lord, I lift up my spiritual leaders before You today. Grant them strength and protection as they engage in spiritual warfare. Let Your word have free course and be glorified through their ministry, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BAHRAIN
83.2% of the population claim to follow Islam and 9.8% claim to be Christians predominantly foreigners) Although, Bahrain has opened its doors to some Christian influence, Proselytism remains illegal and local Christians struggle to freely practice their faith, some worshipping in secret.
According to its citizens, Bahrain still remains desperately in need of the Gospel.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the power of Islam will be broken in this nation and many will come to receive Jesus into their heart in Jesus Name

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father in the name of Jesus, we tear down every veil over the minds of the people that is hindering them from receiving the light.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for a radical change in the Israeli system of government; grant wisdom and revelation to all members of the Knesset and Israel’s Supreme Court in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you will give your people a heart for evangelism, so they can boldly proclaim the gospel to those who are lost, working in His name to bring healing and salvation worldwide in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we intercede for the soul of the unsaved soul and we ask that you deliver them from harmful relationships and associations that keep pulling them back to their old ways in the Name of Jesus.
