Matthew 7:7
”Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
Often, believers find themselves wishing for things instead of actively asking God for what they need. They may think that because God is all-knowing, He is already aware of their desires, making it unnecessary to ask. This misconception prevents them from experiencing the fullness of His blessings and leaves their needs unaddressed.
The truth is, God is all knowing yet, He desires an active relationship with us, which includes open communication through prayer. He encourages us to ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7), demonstrating that our participation in the process is essential. Placing a demand on God in faith is not about manipulating Him; rather, it is about recognizing His sovereignty and willingness to respond to our requests. When we approach Him with confidence and clarity in our prayers, we align ourselves with His will and invite His sovereign intervention.
Identify specific areas in your life where you need God’s help or intervention. Take time in prayer to clearly articulate your requests, placing a demand on His promises. Trust that He is listening and willing to provide for your needs as you ask in faith. Remember, God delights in your requests and desires to bless you abundantly. Glory to God!
START-UP PRAYER:

PRAYER FOR A NATION
Bhutan
Though the population of Bhutan is nearly one million, the number of Christians is very few. Churches are forbidden in all but very rare circumstances with most believers meeting in private homes to worship in secret. Bhutan is one of the least evangelized nations, and the Christians within its borders are subject to prejudice, harassment, and even physical violence.Thankfully, albeit it small, the Church is growing.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for unity amongst the churches in this land to work together and join resources to reach the unsaved in the nation in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will grant the leaders of this nation, the ability to distinguish between righteous counsel and the deceitful counsels of the wicked. Surround them with righteous men and women who will give them sound advice in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for unity in Israel. We ask that you break down walls of division and cause love and understanding to begin to grow in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we pray that every attempt of hell to sabotage and discredit the Church will not stand in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that pour out your Spirit mightily upon the lost and unsaved souls in our city so that many would begin to receive the Gospel that we preach in Jesus Name.
