NO FAITH, NO SACRIFICE

 Genesis 22:2 KJV
“And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.”

Christianity is built on Faith, as a matter of fact, it is the foundation of all spiritual practices.
In some instances in the Bible, Christianity is referred to as “The Faith” because it is built on the foundation of faith. This means that sacrifice done without faith will not be recognized in the realms of the spirit.

Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his only son Isaac as we see in our opening text today, was a profound act of Faith. This was not just about the physical act of offering his son, rather, it was about giving something precious because of the high value he placed on the authority and integrity of God. When we sacrifice in faith, we are demonstrating our trust in God’s promise and goodness even when the command seems heart-wrenching. In the case of Abraham, he believed that God could raise the dead, showing his unshakeable faith in God’s power and promises.(Hebrews 11:17-19). Little wonder he is called the Father of Faith even till this day.

Therefore, reflect on your life today, and through the leading of the Holy Spirit, consider how ready you are to do all that the Spirit of God has bidden you to do. Meditate on the integrity of God to keep to His word and as you do so, watch Him come through in ways beyond the imagination of man. Glory to God!

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Dear Father, I Heavenly Father, I thank you for your word today, and I ask that you will help me today to make sacrifices in faith as I walk in obedience to your word, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Prayer for a Nation- ALBANIA

Albania has been a secular state since 1912, meaning it remains neutral on matters of belief and conscience. The most common religion in Albania is Islam, followed by Christianity. However, religious observance and practice are generally lax today, and polls indicate that few Albanians consider religion to be important factors in their lives.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for a spiritual awakening in Albania, and that the heart of the people will be opened to seek a deeper relationship with you in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Heavenly Father, we ask that the Leaders of Albania under the influence of the Holy Spirit, will begin to create an environment where Christians can freely practice their faith and boldly proclaim the power that’s in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for Israel
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause Israel to be victorious, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Heavenly father, we pray for the release of grace to love one another and we ask that you will help us to live sanctified lives for your Glory in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will bring a deep conviction of sin, spiritual brokenness, a holy fear of God and genuine repentance amongst every unsaved soul in the Name of Jesus.
