NOTHING LIKE YOUR PAST

“Psalm 126:1 – When the Lord turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.”

Our opening text today is a clear indication that God is capable of totally turning every situation around, even the seemingly impossible, to the amazement of men. From scriptures, we see accounts of believers who experienced a complete turnaround because they trusted in the LORD. Let us consider a few.

In one day, Joseph went from being a prisoner to becoming the second in command in a foreign land (Gen. 41). Sarah (Gen. 17) and Hannah (1Sam. 1) went from being barren to becoming notable mothers of great children. Mordecai went from sitting at the king’s gate to becoming a major commander in Haman’s stead (Est. 10). And David left from following after sheep to becoming the king of Israel (1Sam. 16). These and many more had life-changing encounters with God that changed their lives completely, giving us examples of how God can turn our lives around if only we trust in Him.

Therefore, understand that what the Lord has made possible for many others is possible for you too because His promises are for all who believe. Do you believe? Meditate thoroughly today on these accounts of men whose lives and circumstances the Lord turned around, so that your faith can be stirred up to receive a unique testimony of turnaround for yourself. God has a greater future for you that is nothing like your past. It is your turn to testify as you put your trust in Him for a reset today!

Startup Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus, I declare my trust in you today, and in your power to turn my life around. Help me today to experience a shift in my life, that I may enter the new phase you have for me, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – RWANDA
Rwanda has made great progress in many areas since the tragic events of 1994-1995. The nation’s infrastructure was greatly brutalized during the conflicts but political stability since 2000 has allowed for rebuilding and developing of the economy. Rwanda is now one of the fastest growing country economically in Africa.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every force of darkness that is resisting the spread of the Gospel in this nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will help the leaders of this nation to be consistent, committed, and faithful in their service to the people, in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that Your spirit of love and unity will rest on every member of the Body of Christ, and thus, we will speak with one voice even in these last days, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost souls in our cities, that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, in Jesus name.
