There is such a thing as the evil day in the life of every man. It is a time when all hell seems let loose; when troubles seem to press you on every side. In such a time, will you stand victorious? The Bible says that when the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. We see that the Spirit of God lifts up of the standard which we have set up by our obedience to the Word, prior to the enemy’s attack.

The evil day comes to both the believer and the unbeliever, but the outcome is different based on their foundation. Jesus tells us that a man who hears and obeys the word of God is likened  to a man whose house is built on the Rock (Jesus Christ). No matter how vehemently the storms of life rage, he remains unshaken and unperturbed because he knows his foundation is sure. But for the one who does not obey and live by the Word, his experience is the exact opposite because his foundation is as one built on sand.

On what is the foundation of your life laid? On sand or on the rock? It is never too late to begin building on the rock. X-ray your life today by checking your obedience level and realign in total obedience to God- then you will be assured of your continuous prosperity irrespective of the storms that comes your way. Hallelujah!
