PARTNER WITH GOD IN PRAYER

James 5:16b
“ The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much”

Prayer is not just a religious routine; it is a divine opportunity to partner with God. When we pray, we tap into that same power that created the universe and God’s limitless wisdom to cause a change in our own lives or around us. Such is the magnitude of the effect of prayer.

Our prayers have the potential to bring about divine intervention on the earth, transforming lives, and shaping destinies. When we stand in the place of prayer, we have the privilege to speak to God, not only about our needs, but about the needs of others. We intercede for the souls of men, and call upon the Lord to intervene in situations beyond us, and we have this assurance that He hears us and grants the petitions that we place before Him. What a privilege!

Therefore use this great tool given to you by God without reservation. Set yourself to shape destinies, enforce the will of God upon the earth, and turn many unto righteousness daily as you intercede for the lost, your nation and the world at large.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-TANZANIA
Christianity is the largest religion in Tanzania, with a substantial Muslim minority. Current statistics on the relative sizes of various religions in Tanzania are limited because religious questions have been eliminated from government census reports since 1967. However, estimates published by the Pew Research Center in 2012 indicated that 61.4% of the population were Christian, 35.2% Muslim, 1.8% practiced traditional folk religions and 1.4% were unaffiliated.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for passionate laborers to arise within the churches that will take the Gospel to the uttermost part of the nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will give the leaders insight into the needs of their communities and discernment to make decisions to lead their states, communities, and nation well.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will take away every barriers and divisions from the church in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the keys of the city, that we may be able to reach every home and every person in our cities and nation, in Jesus name
