Psalm 145:3, KJV-
“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.”

God is King, and just as earthly rulers are approached with honour, accolades, and recognition, we must approach God with a higher reverence and adoration because He is the King of all Kings. When we come before Him in prayer, thanksgiving, and praise, we are to declare His marvelous greatness, acknowledging what He is to us and in doing so, bringing glory to His name. Just as a king is honored by the subjects, God is glorified when we openly declare His majesty and goodness. Our praise should reflect the worthiness of the King we serve.

To understand who God is and the manner in which we must praise Him, it is important that we diligently study His Word as this equips us to praise and thank Him in a manner that truly honors His greatness. The more we understand who God is through His Word, the better we are able to communicate with Him and offer our praises fittingly. The Scriptures open our eyes to His attributes, His greatness, and His mighty works, making our praise more sincere and profound. As we grow in knowledge of Him, we find more reasons to glorify Him lavishly. We do not just praise God with casual words; we use creative and meaningful expressions that reflect His true greatness.

God, the Landlord of the multiverse, cannot be praised without receiving something in return. When we praise Him, He blesses us in return, filling our lives with His goodness. So, take time to discover new words to describe His greatness, meditate on His awesomeness, and lift up your praises. Just as words of appreciation move people, so does a heartfelt praise to God. Praise Him lavishly for the remaining part of this year, and expect Him to crown your year with His goodness, as promised in Psalm 65:11.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BOTSWANA
Despite being ranked as a middle-income country and having a high literacy rate, unemployment has risen to nearly 20%, and the scourge of AIDS still haunts them. Twenty-two percent of the population is infected with HIV/AIDS, and 100,000 children are AIDS orphans. But comprehensive and effective treatment programs have saved many lives. But, even though 65% of the population identifies as Christian, animism and old tribal rituals are often mixed into their faith. This syncretism has led to the decline of many strong churches. 

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for more intercessors to arise in this land that will cease not to bring petitions before you day and night on behalf of this nation in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS

Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray for every leader in Argentia, that their hearts will be opened to receive the Word and willingly apply it in the daily affairs of the nation in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that your glory will be manifested all over Jerusalem in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for the church that you will give us grace to possess our vessel in sanctification in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you remove any barriers preventing the unsaved from encountering the truth of your Gospel in Jesus Name.
