PRIORITIZE SPIRITUAL GROWTH.

2 Peter 3:18
” But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”

God is infinite, and your journey into knowing Him is unending, requiring daily updates. Just as there is a whole lot to learn by revelation in God, the need to continually grow cannot be over-emphasized It is expected that you grow in the knowledge of God, in the understanding of scriptures and in your walk with God. Growth is also expected in the areas of prayer, sacrifice, self-control etc.

Prioritizing your spiritual growth involves making intentional efforts and commitment to seeking the knowledge of God through fellowship with His Word and His Spirit, and applying the truth that is revealed in your life. This is one of the reasons you must not play down on the important of personal Bible study, prayer, meditation and even corporate worship, which are foundational ways for you to fellowship with God.

Therefore, do not allow yourself to be carried away in the motions and activities of each day without paying attention to those spiritual exercises that strengthen your faith and builds you up in the things of God, so you may align yourself more closely with God’s purposes and become more effective in your assignment to the world.

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me not to get carried away with the issues of this world. I ask for grace to make seeking you my pursuit in Jesus Name.

Prayer for a Nation-ANDORRA

Christianity is the largest religion in Andorra with more than 90 percent of the population as adherents. However, Andorra is also home to sizeable communities of non-religious people (nearly 7 per cent) and adherents of other faiths. Among these are: Sunni Islam, with 1.32 per cent of the population; Hinduism is followed by 0.49 per cent, Judaism by 0.34 per cent, and the Faith by 0.16 per cent.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for more labourers to boldly rise from among the churches that exist in Andorra in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Father in the name of Jesus, cause the hearts of those in authority in this nation to be turned to you, that they may lead with godly fear and truth, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Israel
Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You baptize the leaders of the church with the spirit of selflessness, that they may discharge their duties in humility and love In Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You grant unto all lost souls in our city repentance and a knowledge of the truth, so that they may escape from the snare of the devil In Jesus’ name.
