PROFIT FROM THE COVENANT

“Genesis 12:2 – “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”

The earliest reference to the blessing can be traced back to Genesis chapter 12 when the Lord called Abraham and commanded him to leave his father’s house.
The Lord made a covenant with him to bless him conditioned on his obedience, confirming the same when he willingly gave his only son as a sacrifice in obedience to God.

We see also in the promise of God that this blessing was also for the seed of Abraham (Gen. 26:4). This means that anyone who is a seed of Abraham is qualified to partake of the blessing of Abraham.
Please notice that the promise was not to the seeds of Abraham but to the seed of Abraham. And the seed is one Christ Jesus (Gal. 3:16).

Those who walk in the faith of Abraham regardless of their lineage are the seed of faith. When we believed in Christ and received Him, we became Abraham’s seed therefore heirs of the blessing, giving us access and right to the blessing.

And because the blessing is the promise of God guaranteed by the integrity of God, we can count on its efficacy in our lives today. Halleluyah!

Startup Prayer:Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the access you have given me to the blessing. I declare that Abraham’s blessing is activated in my life right now, and the fruits of the covenant manifest in my life now in Jesus Name!

PRAYER FOR A NATION -RWANDA
Rwanda has made great progress in many areas since the tragic events of 1994-1995. The nation’s infrastructure was greatly brutalized during the conflicts but political stability since 2000 has allowed for rebuilding and developing of the economy. Rwanda is now one of the fastest growing country economically in Africa.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You pour out your spirit mightily upon the unreached parts of this nation, and many will come to know the Lord and be saved. .

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will raise up ministers in this nation, who will instruct the leaders in the truth, in Jesus name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of conflicts and misunderstanding in the church, and we ask for grace to stand together in unity, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the voice of the Spirit will become clearer to all missionaries and labourers in the harvest field, thus, leading them to the right souls, in Jesus name. .
