PURSUE A VISION

Habukuk 2:2
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Many people find themselves going through life without a clear direction or purpose. They wake up every day with no project or vision guiding them. A lack of focus on meaningful goals leaves room for distractions and trivial pursuits; time and energy can easily be wasted on things that don’t add value. This often results in years passing with nothing significant to show for it.

The key to overcoming this state is to have a vision—something you’re actively pursuing. Our opening text teaches us to write the vision and make it plain so that it can be followed. Having an idea is good, but writing it down on paper makes it real. When you wake up every day, there should be a project or goal that pushes you to think, plan, and grow. Having a vision keeps you focused and without distractions. It’s easy to chase after every fleeting interest or trivial matter when there is no vision, but when you pursue something meaningful, it brings purpose to your daily activities and helps you invest your time wisely.

This month, take time to map out the things you must accomplish. Write down your vision and commit to actualizing it diligently. Avoid trying to do everything; instead, focus on one or two key goals that will elevate you to a better position. Let your actions align with your vision, and you will find yourself making progress day by day. Glory to God!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask for wisdom to pursue a God-given vision and for discipline to follow it through to the end in Jesus Name.

BANGLADESH

Bangladesh declared Islam its religion in 1988. Today 89% of the population are Muslims. The religious freedom guaranteed by the Constitution is beginning to erode as the Christian population (1%) experiences bouts of persecution and oppression, and missionaries are prohibited from traveling freely.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the Christians in this land  to remain firm in their faith amid increased persecution in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS:

Father, in the Name of Jesus,we pray for the leaders of this nation  that they will give You first place in their lives from today in Jesus Name. 

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the hearts of the new converts in Israel to be open as they are exposed to the Gospel through  online evangelism in the name of Jesus

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH

Oh Lord, we ask in the Name of Jesus, that you pour out your restorative power over those who are sick and suffering in the body of Christ and pour  your healing grace over them bringing physical, spiritual and emotional healing right now in the Name of Jesus.

 PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL

Father in the name of Jesus, we bind and destroy every anti-revival strategy and operation of Satan in the city that tries to lure men away from God in the Name of Jesus.
