PARTNER WITH GOD

- Matthew 6:10 (KJV) - “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Prayer is a special privilege given to us by God to cause a change on the earth, and in our own lives.

Our opening scripture today shows us that we can superimpose the Kingdom of God here on earth, causing the will of God to take effect here as it is in heaven. How profound!

Prayer is an important element in bringing the will of God to pass. It is partnering with God to unlock the heavenly resources He has prepared for us, allowing His purposes to manifest on earth as they already are in heaven.

Thus, a believer who desires to see the promises of God come to pass in his or her life must be a person of prayer, one who looks into the Word to search out the will of God, and engages heaven in prayer to bring the same to pass.

Therefore, decide today to be an active participant in bringing God’s plans for your life, marriage, home, career or business to pass by making prayer a priority. Align your heart with Him and pray for His will to be done in your life today. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:

Father in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the privilege of partnering with You in prayer. Teach me to be diligent in my prayer walk with you, so I may see Your purposes fulfilled on earth as it is in Heaven in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION: BELIZE

The majority of Belizeans profess Christianity but often combine it with other religious practices including superstitions, paganism, and black magic.

This diluted form of Christianity is exemplified by the ten percent of people who attend church weekly, and the 70% of pastors who are bi-vocational.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you stir up a hunger for more of Your presence amongst the believers of this land, so that through their faith, many will come to know you in Belize, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS

Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you cause the leaders of this land to seek to do your will as opposed to their selfish interest in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL

Father in the name of Jesus, cause your chosen people of Israel to know you and seek you with all their hearts ,that they may align fully with your will for the nation, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for grace to forebear one another in love, and to put away every form of malice in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the cares of the world will stop choking the reality of eternity from the heart of the unsaved soul in and around us in Jesus Name.

”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”

One of the greatest obstacles believers face is neglecting holiness while striving for spiritual growth in prayer, faith, and service. Many desire transformative results but overlook the crippling effect of living in sin. Holiness is essential, as without it, every other step we take may fall short. Sin weakens our connection with God and hinders the flow of His blessings in our lives and invariably gives Satan right to attack us.

To address this, it is important to understand that holiness is not just about avoiding sin but, about living in complete alignment with God’s will. As our opening scripture urges us, we ought to pursue holiness because it is through this pursuit we possess the power to receive from God. Holiness strengthens our relationship with God and allows us to walk in His authority. When we live a life of holiness, we open ourselves to greater victories in the spirit, and the ability to overcome the enemy’s plans. Pursuing holiness involves daily examining our actions, thoughts, and desires, ensuring that they reflect God’s standards.

Therefore, make a conscious decision to pursue holiness in every aspect of your life. You can begin by asking God to reveal any areas of sin that may be holding you back and commit to turning away from them. As you pursue holiness, you will not only grow spiritually but also possess the power to receive God’s promises and walk in His purpose for your life. Glory to God!

Father, give me the strength to turn away from sin and to walk in alignment with Your will, that I may receive all You have for me in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BENIN

Historically one of the least evangelized nations in Africa, the Church in Benin has grown from 50,000 people to 770,000 in just thirty years. However, the nation also has one of the highest rates of syncretism, specifically combining Christianity, animism, and Voodoo. The need for trained pastors is in high demand. There is also great need for a media ministry in Benin, as most of the nation is illiterate. Nearly half of the languages in Benin do not have a Bible to inform the 60 total people groups of the loving nature of God.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for those bound to voodoo and witchcraft to be set free by the power of Jesus today in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Heavenly Father, we pray that leaders who fear God will begin to take their place in the seat of power so that they may lead the people in the fear of God.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You baptize the leaders of the church with the spirit of selflessness, that they may discharge their duties in humility and love, in Jesus’ name.
