BUILD YOUR ALTAR

📖 Judges 6:24 Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah-shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi-ezrites.

There are times when we face challenges and repeated setbacks that defy explanation, even when success seems within reach. Often, these patterns can be traced back to spiritual issues rooted in our bloodlines and ancestral lineage. However, as believers, we can overcome these obstacles through prayer and the power of altars.

Fasting is a powerful tool to overcoming this challenge, as it helps bring the body under subjection, allowing the spirit to take charge.

Among the different types of fast, the fasting of the tongue is particularly important for those engaged in travailing prayers. By controlling our words, we create an environment where our words are purposeful and directed by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible teaches that controlling our tongue enables us to control our entire body, making our prayers more effective. This discipline extends beyond abstaining from

food; it includes abstaining from unnecessary conversations that can weaken our spiritual sensitivity and corrupt our spirit. As we control our tongue, we align ourselves more closely with God's spirit, making our prayers more powerful and effective.

Therefore, consciously speak words that give hope, express love, and build faith in the heart. This way, God is glorified, and souls are drawn to salvation. Hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for grace to bridle my tongue and not engage in matters that are beyond my jurisdiction in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION AZERBAIJAN
Over eighty-six percent of the nation’s ten million citizens are practicing Muslims. Religious institutions are still required to register with the Azeri government in order to congregate,

and religious literature must be approved before publishing.Christians are often harassed by law enforcement, threatened by heavy fines, and forced to avoid congregating because of the inability to adhere to strict regulations.

Many citizens are imprisoned for worshipping without proper registration.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Gospel of Christ will gain ascendancy in the hearts of the people of this land in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS: Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that your Holy Fear will rest upon the Leaders of this nation so that they may begin to lead the people in your ways only, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL:
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you destroy and divide the tongues of those who would incite violence against Israel.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will strengthen our hunger to know and be intimate with you so that we may walk according to your divine plan always in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will bless our outreaches weekly, that they will be productive in reaching the people in our various cities and environs in Jesus Name.

RE-SHARPEN YOUR GAZE

Hebrews 11:2 KJV
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Today, one of the biggest challenges believers face is maintaining focus on what truly matters. In a world filled with distractions, our walk with God and personal goals can easily be hindered by diverse temptations pulling us from different directions. Yielding to these temptations can lead to spiritual stagnation and misplaced priorities.

To combat this, we must train our minds to remain focused on God’s purpose for our lives. As our opening text encourages, we must fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Fixing our eyes on Jesus requires acknowledging His place in our lives as the source of our salvation and the only one capable of leading us to the finish line of our destinies. When we set our focus on Him, we align our daily activities with God’s will, eliminating distractions and confusion.

Today, take intentional steps to evaluate time-stealing activities in your life. Make a daily decision to realign your priorities by seeking God’s guidance in prayer and meditating on His Word because where prayer and meditation are present, taking the right steps in all you do becomes easy. Glory to God!

START-UP PRAYER:
Father, help me to fix my focus on You. Remove every distraction that pulls me away from Your purpose, and grant me the grace to prioritize what truly matters today in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BELARUS

The majority of Belarusians belong to the Orthodox Church with large Catholic and non-religious segments, yet the Orthodox Church is very ritualistic, and there is high nominalism among those who attend. Religion was outlawed and oppressed during the Soviet era, and this persecution still continues. A 2002 law severely limited religious freedoms by outlawing worship meetings in homes, congregations of less than 20 individuals, new religious schools, and the circulation of religious literature not approved by the state. It also hindered churches’ ability to buy or rent land. Yet even in this hostile environment of persecution, more and more people claim to be followers of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the churches in the land that Christ will remain their aim and focus in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for boldness to rest upon the leaders of this nation that they will begin to make laws that favour the cause of the Gospel, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISREAL:
Father, in the name of Jesus, in Your mercy, vanquish the tremendously powerful religious spirits which dominate the whole territory today in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE UNITY OF THE CHURCH:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that churches would be unified in Christ and become witnesses of God’s faithfulness, authority, and unconditional love at work in His people.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/REVIVAL:
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against and destroy every adversary to the open doors of the gospel in our cities and environs, in Jesus’ name.
