Who among you fears the LORD and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on their God.
Isaiah 50:10
The fear of God is something you can work on and grow in and there are some ways you can develop and grow in the fear of God. One of such ways is regarding His servants. If you do not regard God’s ministers, it shows you do not regard God. Our scriptural text qualifies a man who regards God’s servant as a man who fears God. This is one way to begin to develop the fear of God.
Anyone who bears the name of God as His servant should be regarded because he bears God’s name. It’s wisdom to desist from castigating or talking against servants of God. Even though there might be obvious imperfections about them, it is not our duty to pull them down, rather, that responsibility should be left to God who called them. It is our duty to hold God’s ministers in honor and high esteem.
Some people think they are working for God or doing Him a favor by castigating a servant of God. This is not God’s pattern. You must shun the temptation to use derogatory remarks or try to pull down a man/woman of God because you may be working against God while thinking you are working for Him. You will grow in your reverence for God when you begin to regard His ministers. Halleluyah!

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may the wisdom to relate with and honor God’s ministers’ rest on you in Jesus name.
