LORD, SHOW ME YOUR WAY- PRAYING THE PROMISES – 7TH AUGUST 2024
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. .
Father, in the Name of Jesus we ask that you remove any obstacles or discouragement placed by the enemy in our hearts and give us the courage to honour you through our sacrifices in Jesus Name.
Father in the Name of Jesus, we pray for every unsaved soul in this Nation that they will come to know the Lord and experience his restorative power in the Name of Jesus.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, we ask that you will cause a mighty revival to take place amongst the leadership of this nation that many will begin to denounce their old ways and come to follow the Lord Jesus in the Name of Jesus.
Father in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you will glorify your Name in Israel and cause your authority to be known amongst the heathen in the Name of Jesus.
Father in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you will glorify your Name in Israel and cause your authority to be known amongst the heathen in the Name of Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus we ask that you put upon us the shield of faith so that we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked in the Name of Jesus.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for every unsaved soul in our city and we ask that you remove the veils of deception and lies from their minds in the Name of Jesus.

🔳RELEASE A SACRIFICE
📖 Hebrews 11:17-19 KJV
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
.
To sacrifice means to give up something valuable and important to you. This is another manifestation of faith in a beliver, which goes against the default setting in a natural man, which is to think only of oneself. However, when we walk in faith, we choose to give up what is valuable to us in obedience to God’s leading, trusting that He will keep His word to replenish and multiply what we offer unto Him.
The devil despises sacrifice, and will do anything to ensure believers do not honour God with sacrifice, as sacrifice is an ultimate declaration of faith in God. When we choose to offer sacrifice to God, we show our faith in God’s abundant ability to provide more than enough. We do not give because God is in need of it, rather we give to show our reverence of Him and confidence in him just like we see of Abraham in our opening text.
Remember, your sacrifice reveals what is in your heart and what is in your heart can never be faked. Let this therefore guide us as we give to God in honour of Him who will respond by opening the window of Heaven over You. Hallelujah!
