REST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS

God’s faithfulness is steady and unfailing, even when everything around us feels uncertain.

Lamentations 3:22-‬23 KJV
It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.

As we reach the close of another year, it is natural to reflect on the challenges, changes, and perhaps even losses that we faced. This year may have held moments of disappointment, uncertainty, or unexpected trials. In such times, we might have wondered if we would make it through. Yet here we stand, held by God’s sustaining hand. Our opening text reminds us of this powerful truth, we are not consumed because of the mercy of God and by His mercy alone Scripture mercy alone that we have come this far, and His faithful love continues to carry us forward.

God’s faithfulness is steady and unfailing, even when everything around us feels uncertain. Each day He renews His compassion toward us, giving us the grace we need to face life’s trials. Unlike the world’s fleeting promises, God’s love and mercy are constant. As we look back on the year, we can find peace in knowing that He has been our anchor. Every hardship we have endured, every victory we have celebrated, is evidence of His faithfulness at work in our lives.

As we step into a new year, take a moment to thank God for His mercies that have carried you this far, and ask Him for the grace to continue resting in His faithfulness each day. Rest in the security of God’s unchanging love. Let go of any lingering anxieties and trust that the same God who has brought you through this year will be with you in the next. Hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER

Oh Lord, I thank You for Your unfailing faithfulness through this past year. As I move into the new year, help me to rest in Your love and trust in Your promise to sustain me in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
BRUNEI
In the nation of Brunei, government and religion are intermingled. A constitutional sultanate, locally known as the Malay Islamic Monarchy, rules the nation in an Islamic tradition dating back to the 15th century.  Even Brunei’s national flag displays the crescent moon, a common Islamic emblem that illustrates the nation’s religious affiliations. Though only 67% of Bruneians are Muslim, it is illegal to proselytize, and Muslims are forbidden to convert from Islam. These restrictions greatly hinder missionary attempts to establish new Christian communities.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION:

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for effective training and discipleship tools that will enable all Christians and ministers of the gospel to connect meaningfully with the unreached in this nation in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that You will remove leaders and men of authority that you did not set up. Give this nation selfless leaders, mean and women of wisdom and understanding; leaders who will not cause the people to err.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray and declare that the body of Christ will have one mind; that they speak with one voice, mission, and purpose on earth.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we cry for a release of your mercy upon every unsaved soul in this city and its environs, that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
