SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Jonah 2;9
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of The Lord.

It is very easy to be happy when life is good. You wake up singing, you walk with an extra spring in your step. God is just so wonderful. During such moments, it is also easy to praise God. God seems so awesome when you are having testimonies. But, when you experience trials, is God still good?
Can you still praise God during such times? Jonah was in a precarious situation, which was as a result of his disobedience, but he prayed, and God heard him. In the next verse (Jonah2:10) the fish spat him out of its belly right at Nineveh, because God spoke to the fish.
Imagine that! Just after Jonah told God he would give God a sacrifice with the voice of thanksgiving in prayer. Praising God amid a deleterious situation is a sacrifice.
That is because, your human nature will negate such a response, but that is the time to see the power of God. The enemy does not want us to remain joyous, so, he will do everything to make sure he punctures your faith. Resist that devil and praise God.
Give God a sacrifice of praise in faith and expectation. Do not focus on the circumstance around you. God has not abandoned you. He is with you. Praise God, and He will bring your answer right to you. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to give the sacrifice of praise in
Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR MALDIVES
Background: Maldives is rated amongst the top 10 nation that needs the Gospel. 50% are unreached with the
Gospel. It has one of the highest divorce rates in the world, rising crime and gang activity, abuse of children, and
endemic drug use among teens.
We are praying that the light of the gospel will shine in the lives of Maldivians.
Father, we pray that you will bless our leaders with good health and with safety.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

We pray against every plan of the devil to frustrate the plans for
unity in the church.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will continue to grow mightily and prevail, leading to a
mass harvest of souls and revival in our nations and environs
