SEEK GOD EARLY

Proverbs 3:6
“O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee.”

The heart cry of King David as we see in our opening text today, is a clear example of what true acknowledgement of God makes you do. It causes you to set aside other things so that you may attend to fellowshipping with Him. Specifically, the use of the word “early” emphasizes the priority you must give to this practice as a believer.

The blessing of seeking God early is plainly seen in Proverbs 8:17; those that seek Him early will find Him. In other words, as you seek Him as a matter of priority each day, your petitions before Him will also be honoured as a matter of priority, and His promises will come through in your life. Say Amen to that!

Therefore, begin by developing the culture of spending the first hour of your day in His presence, fellowshipping with His Word in meditation and prayer. Resolve to never allow anything or anyone take His place in your life, and like a Father that He truly is, He will abide with you forever, and cause you to live a life of constant testimonies. Hallelujah!

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Dear father, strengthen me to seek you early and at all times this year, in Jesus name.

Prayer for a Nation- SAMOA

Christianity is the official and largest religion in Samoa, with its various denominations accounting for around 98% of the total population. Although there is no official estimate, there are reportedly small numbers of Hindus, Buddhists, Jews and traditional believers, primarily in Apia.

Prayer for the Nation
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for supernatural strength for the missionaries into this nation, that they will carry the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Prayer for the Leaders
Father, in the name of Jesus we pray for the leadership of this nation that they would have divine understanding and wisdom to tackle the specific needs of the nation in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Israel
Father, we ask that You comfort and strengthen the nation of Israel in this season, that in the midst of adversity, they may find courage to stand for Your name.

Prayer for the Unity of the Church

Father in the name of Jesus, we come against every erroneous doctrine being perpetrated in the church, that is causing disagreements and disunity. Let your truth prevail, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for Souls/Revival
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that doors of utterance be opened unto our labourers as they go into the harvest fields today, in Jesus name.
